WHAT YOU NEED TO BUILD A WEBSITE

 
  • Domain name.  This is the web address of your website.  For example, www.myownsite.com. To do this you must register your chosen name with a third party.  Domain names vary in price from €20 - €70 per annum. 
  • Web Host. This is the company that stores your files on a server and makes them available on the Internet. You cannot have an online presence without one.  Hosting for a typical small business starts at around €50 per annum. Some companies offer free hosting plus domain name, but this should be avoided as they may not be reliable and you end up with an address like http://homepage.tinet.ie/~mysite/
  • A website. This is where we come in!  We can also organise your domain name and hosting with other companies to ensure that you get value for money.
